Bengali-Irish South London singer-songwriter Joy Crookes up for nominee up for Best New Comer Mobo Awards.  Joy Crookes shared her new album 'Skin' with the world, ranging from R&B, Reggae to Neo-Soul. The 2021 MOBO Awards will air live on YouTube on Sunday, December 5, at Coventry Building Society Arena.

In a Diffus interview, Joy Crookes compares her new album “Skin” to a walk through Berlin: At every corner, there is a different building with different people, joys and sorrows meeting each other, and the most different realities of life partly live next door to each other. Joy is credited as an executive producer on the album, alongside  Blue May (Kano, Blood Orange). Skin’s album artwork is shot by Carlota Guerrero.
